Imagine a universe where every star in the sky and every molecule in your coffee cup forms part of an immense quantum computer. This is not just a poetic metaphor; it's the reality that underpins our universe. As we stand on the brink of a new era in computing, one that seeks to harness this quantum intricacy, India embarks on an ambitious journey through its National Quantum Mission. Quantum Nation delves into this transformative voyage, exploring how India is positioning itself at the forefront of the quantum revolution. It's a story of innovation, vision, and the relentless pursuit of knowledge, set against the backdrop of a nation striving to redefine its future.
The cover of Quantum Nation, is designed by Chittaranjan Nath from Prabisha Consulting Pvt. Ltd., and inspired by the boundless creativity of my family.
The idea for the cover was first suggested by one of my pre-teen daughters, and it quickly became a shared project filled with imagination and heart. This cover is more than just a visual—it's a celebration of their support and spirit.
My other daughter hand-sketched a quantum computer, drawing inspiration from images she had seen. Chittaranjan Nath skillfully brought her vision to life, refining the sketch and infusing it with a golden glow, reminiscent of a chandelier illuminating a quantum processor—symbolic of the brilliance at the heart of this revolution.
The back cover blurb takes inspiration from my nephews, who introduced me to the world of Star Wars. Styled like the legendary opening crawl, it brings an epic, adventurous tone to the narrative—framing quantum computing as a heroic journey into the future.
